Jazmyn Porter, LLMSW

CLINICAL THERAPIST

Serving clients in Michigan

Specializing in holistic wellness for mothers, addressing birth, racial and/or intergenerational trauma, identity, life transitions, self-care, and body image/self-esteem

Hey, mama, hey! I’m Jazmyn, a mama of two on a mission to create dialogue, spaces, and structures for us to actively yet authentically, gracefully yet unapologetically, be well and in tuned with who we are. Our bodies, identities, experiences, emotions, values, you name it.

Holding a Master’s in Social Work and Public Health with training in Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, health coaching, and physical fitness, I am an enthusiast of all things health and wellness, most passionate about the use of mind and body modalities as preventative measures and treatment to the challenges encountered throughout life.

I welcome mama to mama collaborations with those seeking an open, brave, and accountable space to process and master the navigation of their mama drama trauma. This includes balancing conflicting identities that intersect with motherhood, navigating transitions and challenges in mom life or relationships impacted by it, unpacking and resolving birth, racial, and/or intergenerational trauma, and confronting harmful body image and/or self esteem.

The objective, elevating the essence and boldness of you in support of taking on the ebbs and flows of motherhood with liberation, style, and gratitude.

Jazmyn accepts Aetna, ASR, BCBS, Cofinity, HAP, PHP, Priority Health and self-pay clients.
